Well, they would make a ready source of spare parts...

Another crossover sport for the winter Olympics: Sumo Skiing. After doing a jump and then a slalom, the remaining competitors engage in a wrestling bout!

I heard about this, but I thought they were supposed to do the sumo "running into each other" bit during the airborne portion of the jump. There was even something about the winner getting bonus feet added to his jump distance based on how many trees his opponent knocked down.

Yes, that's the "crossover" portion of the event! The X-games also gives them samurai swords for this part, but the namby-pambly Olympics banned this...

There is also Sumo skating up for an Olympic event although the Olympic committee is hesitating on this. The event can also get rather bloody as the skates can inflict horrible wounds.

15000 calories. If only it really took that much

Ah, the reason they are able to put on so much weight with "only" 15000 calories is that they have a special high-cat diet!!

Heh - after checking out the "soft tanks" (see main forum (" And you thought that japanese tanks were funny and strange?") as well as this thread for the URLs), you do not need to convince me about their screwiness!!

OK - i've finally finished Mynok's cheesey cartoon prize for winning Friday's NAKED ANIMAL Contest...

Alas, i thought i remembered some strange facts about Mynok that i was going to incorporate into the cartoon (something about working on his thesis on some kind of bug, but i think all those posts were in the original Thread and have vanished...) So, i read many posts from the current Thread trying to find it to no avail. I did run across his posts about his distate for PBR, "inspiring" this creation...

Ah yes, I remember that day well. Jiffy Lube had destroyed my Martian Maggot and I desparately needed a new transport for my Space Modulator. What joy to find an unused Viking lander!!

The six-pack of PBR found aboard had to be poured out on the Martian soil, causing the death of all life in a 6 square mile area.

Zounds!

Meanwhile, the War of Cats vs. Nik continues.

Irrelevant's Sniper Kitty lost his rifle, but has offered to take on Nik in fisticuffs!!!

Finally, the decided on the Bushido method and got a Kamikaze Kitty to try to run Nik over!!

Unfortunately for the cats (but fortunate for Nik) the cat couldn't reach the gas pedal and steer at the same time...

BIIIIIIG cats judging by the size of that cannon..........

He's clearly never fired it because he still has both shoulders and arms.

Yeah, that buttstock looks like it would very nicely cut his arm off at the shoulder if he fired that thing.

Thesis? Nay, I've never graced the halls of a postgraduate institution and never will.....Far too much pain, sorrow and labor for the reward.
