When fair catches are allowed in the rules, it seems like all the players do is call fair catches, even if no one is around.

Anyone else noticing this?

I have seen both fair catches and returns. In the proportions I would expect in a game.

Yes I have noticed this. Fair catches called when nearest defender is 20 yds away. I've cursed more than a few of my kick returners for their lack of guts
