Guys, I have received a warning message a couple times saying my FPS is under 25 and I should drop my settings down (go to 800x600, less detail, etc).

I find this weird seeing I am running an AMD 1.4 with 1 gig memory & 256 ATI card.

I am hardly seeing any completed passes, and but reading through the posts it could be related to low FPS.

Just doesn't make sense given my machine specs...please advise

anash,

Can you please follow the instructions in this forum to post a DxDiag file for us?

Also, please try running 800 x 600 x 16, low player detail, no shadows and low res stadium as a test. During the game, hit F11 to watch your frame rate. The important reading is what it's at during play execution. Please report the average you are seeing there with the lowest settings. Thanks.

Regards,

- Erik

Erik,

I will get both to you tomorrow. I broke my hand playing basketball, and need to get surgery (inserting a pin).

Thanks for the quick reply

OK Erik, I did some testing at various settings (didn't get much sleep last night, despite the codeine).

Always at 800x600x16, I went from low detail & basic shadow through to max settings. My FPS were pretty steady at 34 through out. Passing was much improved.

I noticed however when playing night games with bad weather (snow or rain), Max detail & Adv shadows, my FPS went down to 19-22, forcing the system to make adjustments. It seems night games really ding my system.

I have attached the DxDiag file.

PS - Thank god for MXFootball. I am told I will be in a cast for 2 months, have to cancel my baseball season, and put all my art (oil painting) on hold
