21SEC I was wondering about the Alabama helmet, the game wont place a number on the helmet of each player, only on the shoulder or arms as well as front/back, so if I put a number on the helmet that is the number that would be on the helmet of every Alabama player. That doesnt make sense, even though that is the look. It has to be left plain or I noticed on the Alabama web site a type of script A used as a logo, that would work.

Not sure about the LSU helmet, I couldnt find a good shot of the logo to capture for the helmet so ended up just making the letters and putting them in the right position. I did find a tiger, not sure its the same that is under the LSU, on the LSU web site, but since it would be shrunk down so small to see much detail I decided not to add it. It could still be added without much of a problem.

I have been trying to add more teams, mainly from the ACC or Big East, but Im running into two problems. 1. unlike alot of the teams that I have done above, whose universities have web sites with photo gallaries, the first ACC and Big East teams I looked at didnt have photo galleries. I use these to see the detail of the uniforms they wore last season. 2. there are some uniform details that arent very easy to with the game templates, take the Miami away uniform or the West Virginia uniform. So at this point after doing so many teams I dont feel like doing uniforms that are a pain to do. I have done Florida State and Georgia Tech is underway, but after that I may add 1-2 teams from the PAC10, Big 12, and SEC.

As an Alabama fan I can say anything but numbers would be sacreligous. I would say either a 1 or 12 would do

For LSU try this gallery

Ok added the tiger to the LSU helmet, not exact becuase I had made "LSU" larger before since I didnt have the tiger. Below is how it turned out.

Decided that Im not going to add numbers to the Alabama helmet, when I make these available to the public there may be more people that would rather not have it with numbers on the helmet that dont match the players number, besides it will be easy enough for someone to add a number to the helmet if they want it.

Another eastern team, that brings the total college teams I have done up to 28. My plan is to do 4 more only, then I can do a college league with 4 conferences of 8 teams. I hope someone else will step up to add to the total. When the game comes out I will test the uniforms I have done and do field art for the teams, then I will upload the set so anyone that wants can use them. Problem is I will be gone for a week starting the day after the game comes out, so there will be a gap before they are available.

Thanks DH, looking forward to trying them in the game and also getting some screen shots. Will be away next week, but hope to be able to get the field art done before to long.

SEC21, since you started this thread I thought I would ask if you are going to kind of oversee the whole college project, rosters, uniforms etc, seems like there should be a central list of everything created so that everyone will know what is done and what needs to be.

Below is a list of the colleges that I have done uniforms for. I will make them available for download once I can check them out in the game and finnish the numbers and field art. That probably wont be for about two weeks as I will be away next week.

Big Ten

Penn State
Ohio State
Indiania
Purdue
Michigan
Michigan State
Northwestern
Illinois
Wisconsin
Iowa
Minnesota

Notre Dame - Independent

Big 12

Colorado
Kansas State
Nebraska
Oklahoma
Texas
Texas Tech

Pac 10

Arizona State
Oregon
Southern Cal
Standford
UCLA
Washington

SEC

Alabama
Florida
LSU
South Carolina
Tennessee

East

Florida State
Georgia Tech
Miami

32 total

I think I can swing that. I've started working on rosters, although I am in the very early stage. Will need to get the game, and see what my ratings system does. BTW does anyone remember hearing the max # of players per team?

I figure the things we will need to do to get a good set of 1A rosters include, graphics(unis, logos?, field art), rosters, and playbooks.

Man I can't wait for this game. I wish they would release it Monday morning seeing how that is a holiday, the banks are closed, thus I don't have to work

OK I've started a 2006 College Project. So far I have all 1A conferences in the game, and am working on getting all the teams in. I also have started on rosters, and will use actual rosters for the upcoming season. Once all the teams have been created I am going to get the actual schedules entered. We need more unis. nmleague has knocked out 42 unis that can be found at FBMax.com, but we still need 77 more. Anyone interested?

No hurry, we got time. Maybe something to work on when you need a change of pace.

I am going to do the upcoming season. I'm using a system to do the attributes that is based on several things; last year's performance, team, and a comprehensive 40 time database I have.

If you would be interested in putting in the players, I'd go back and plug in the attributes. PM sometime if you are interested.

Gentlemen,
Attached are some examples of college uniforms I have put together for MaxFB.
Across the top:
1) LSU- present day
2) LSU- 1940
3) Alabama- 1940, road uniform
4) Alabama helmet showing the numbers 58 and 82 to honor the years
that Bear Bryant coached the Tide
Across the bottom:
5)Tennessee- 1963, helmet numbers are 26 and 62 to honor the years
that Robert Neyland was associated with UT
6) Mississippi- typical blue jersey combination
7) Chattanooga- pre 1997
