David,

What is the adverage QB scrambling in a game using CFL rules. I played about 30 mins of the game and the CPU scrambled 42 times and rushed for 153 yards. The CPU QB scrambles almost every play. The CPU passing in the first and second quater totalled 4/13 for 26 yards. It became so predicable that the next play the QB will rush the ball and so on. I never really see that in a football game where the QB will rush every play. Anyways, I just posted up there incase anyone else has this problem.

Settings:
Quick Play
Pro
Game Pad
CFL rules
12 mins per quater
lastest patch V.10.122

Hey CFL Fan_7,

Well there has been a number of problems with the QB scrambling so I am sure it will be fixed soon. I was wondering if I can change the scramble value down? But I don't want to mess with the code in the game.

Instead of wasting our time complaining about a game you don't have, maybe you should learn how to spell words correctly.

Lions,
I played 1 full game with .122 and it wasn't so bad. The CPU team rushed 31 times and passed 35 times.

Coach mode
pro
CFL rules
20 min Q

Gman,

I find it boring to watch coach vs CPU when I want to play the game. I might coach one game to see how the game is played out. For CFL fans like myself, we (I speak to most CFL fans out there) have been waiting for a football PC game using Canadian rules. You have no idea how long we have been waiting for this.

It is easy to say to people (including myself) who have played other football games using American rules with four downs however, I have played American rules of football for 12 years and I wanted to have Canadian rules with 3 instead of 4 downs for a change and I only have been playing Canadian rules since MF came out.

I am not trying to say Canadian rules is better than American rules. Don't get me wrong here. All I am saying is I would like to play some good PC football using Canadian rules for a change.

By the way I was using arcade mode vs CPU when I played the game.

I am with you on Canadian rules football game. It has been a long time coming (I know David tried before).

I haven't tried arcade style yet, I will this weekend.

In the 80's I had a Commodore 64 which was only us rules. I also had a CFL board game by Sports Action Pro or something like that (had 82 - 87 seasons). I played the board game all the time. I guess that is why I play more coach mode.

Gman1025,

Don't forget that Amega computers in the 90's had a game called Gridiron and it only came with Amega virsion. This game had Canadian and American rules. Anyways, it was something I saw once and was even temped to buy the Agega 500 just because they had a football game using Canadian rules.

Sorry to bring this up in this post but we should posted it in another thread here if you want to continue this thread. Ok?

Thanks.

I agree CPU vs CPU is boring and I don't think it's a feature that david needs to patch there's obviously more important things to look at.

1- I'm not a jerk it's just some people need a reality check
2- Little-little people do CPU vs. CPU because many many peope find it boring.
3- maybe you're entitled to your wishes but they're not important.
4- if you don't like the way the CPU is playing play yourself, that's what games are for for you to play.
5-To sell a game you focus on HUMAN vs CPU not CPU vs. CPU
6- You might not agree with me elmerlee, but the truth hurts

For me controlling a team is cool if your playing against your buddies or in a multiplayer league

But not for a single player because no matter how hard a game is somewhere down the line you'll end up winning 8 or 9 championships in a row.

-That's why i like the idea of a salary cap because your limited to a certain amount of players so you cant win 8-9 championships

-Styll It's better to play yourself because you can fool around.

I've warned you before not to post in the public beta forum with comments, given that you neither have the game nor the public beta and have been posting on tangential issues. This comment however is in direct violation of our forum rules. This is my last warning to you. No personal insults, no name-calling and keep your comments to the main M-F forum and not the support forums until you have a valid reason to post there.

Regards,

- Erik
