Hi Gang (Part II)

over all the basic idea is to get as many Real Pilots into the game that we can, to try and cut down on the number of AI pilots that end up fighting the war

but so saying, there are always HARD to fill Squadrons, Groups

so, here is your chance, if you would like to have your name added to the game, let me know

now as a filler, your not going to be a unit commander, or a hot shot Ace (way the game works, you may end up that way though)

so over all I would need

your name (not nicks, I not going to add in Whosurdaddy as a name)
if you have a prefer nation to fly for, or time (BoB or BTR)

(if your name is like Micky McCalloyway, I don't think we going to be able to add you to the Romy OOB)

Flt Sgt A. Fletcher, 51 Sqn.

Although the real Flt Sgt A. Fletcher (no relation) was MIA 30Jul43 I would like this pilot included as he bears both my name and I served with this Sqn during the late 80s/early 90s.

Hi Shagg, I was just reading about his mission the other night, I remember you saying you were in the same squadron he was in, got to tell you, it was a odd feeling, seeing a name you know and how his last mission ended

if you don't know, he is already in the data base, I think JC added him in, he has him listed as Andy, I can change that for you if you would rather it be a full name

I am still working on getting all the French names for there squadrons, I got a few of them but not all of them, do you know which one was Alsace ? (if you happen to know the other ones, it would be a big helps too :))

yes, I just read about his passing on a website about the Tempests, odd that his passing would of been so quiet, but anymore, most of them are not reported, a shame, all of them, should be Held in Honor and Respect

I'm not really bothered if it's Andy or Andrew, I suppose Andrew if you have room.

I was honoured, JC made him C/O. I was happy just getting him included. Make him a Flt Sgt so that the real C/O can occupy his rightful position.

Cheers

Andy Fletcher

Tell me about it, not sure if I mentioned it to you before, but just after I got to the Sqn I was tasked with opening up our hangar for a rememberance service for Armistice day (like your veterans day I think) which was to be held there. One of the aircrew had researched all of the Sqn personnel killed or missing during the war. All the names were written in a book which was placed in a glass lectern. As I was in the hangar before anyone else turned up I had a quick look through it. Out of the literally hundreds of names in it I found at least two A. Fletchers, quite a sobering thought.
