Status: offline 		Thanks again.I'll share a few more photos.Mom was a rosie the riviter and married to my father in 1944.She worked in a subcontractor plant riviting the Dorsel fins on
B-17's.She also worked on the thicker skinned B-29 Super forts.
You might want to ask the people in the http://www.armyairforces.com forum if they would like their family member to be in this wargame.It would be great to have real personel in the game as much as possible to make it especially realistic.I can however understand why some families would not want their family member in the game though because of bad memories.
I already had the previous 12 O Clock high Bombing the Reich strategy game by Talonsoft as well as Battle of Britain.It reminded me a lot of what the war planners did as I saw in the original Memphis Belle documentary which is free to download in the public domain at http://www.archive.org
One thing that I noticed in the video was that Brig. General Hansel awarded all the crewmen DFC's.What a coincidence because my dad was General Hansel's personal pilot in the states for a while after he served in the E.T.O

Status: offline 		Lassie and her Lads dad's favorite ship although he flew many other ones.
BTW I only posted fathers flight logs that had his combat missions.The rest of his Pilot logbook was huge and went back to Air Cadets in 1942

Status: offline 		Here is the front page of dad's log book.It's featured on the box and the manual of Shockwave Productions Wings of Power.The other pictures are at my mothers house and I have not scanned them.Dad stayed in an officers tent and outside of it was a unused 250 kg Luftwaffe aircraft bomb.
Well thanks for putting my father in this wargame and I'm looking forward to purchasing it in the future.And thanks everyone for the nice compliments.
I am still not sure what is happening to Shockwaves B17 sim though.Hopefully they will make it.

Status: offline 		Here is a B17 with the 483rd B.G. which was nearby the 463rd B.G. what I liked about this photo was that it was in color and you can even see the red poppies in bloom.
The only difference between the 463rd's markings and the 483rd's markings was that the rudder and elevators on the 463rd's B17's were painted yellow instead of red and they had a different Y on the tail.The engine cowlings were both painted yellow.

the older inputtered, had put the begining interm CO in charge (E.H. Stambaugh) which about a week/10 days later Frank Kurtz took over

I will fix this in the morning after work

it will let me give him his correct rank too !

looks like I can add in a number of the pilots from this group also

(I will try and use the crew names for filler slots)

Now here I think are the other squadron C.O.'s in the 463rd.However I'm not 100% sure because their history link and staff link are somewhat confusing
