The 1964 Raiders are nearly identical to the current Raiders (which has already been done by lucas), aside from the field art. If anything, you should do the 1963 Raiders with the white shield logo and gold numbers.

Can`t wait to see the Raiders uniform . Started watching them in 65 as a kid . Wish the stadium were as easy as uniform`s, listen to me talk about uniform`s , lol . They use to play in a small park called Frank Yuell Field , which was a nice cosy place . Now its a parking lot for Laney college . To bad .

Everything done for a Oakland 1963 uniform, including field art and helmet logo. Next Denver.

I think your helmet stripe on Oakland is a tad too thick. Other than that all those look good.

Thanks, I can live with the helmet stripe, not trying to be exact, just trying to make something I think looks good and is close to reality.

Denver uniform and helmet logo are done, will try to get the field art done tonight. Between the mid 60s AFL uniforms that I have done, and Ktulu there is only one more team to do the Jets. Im going to finnish up other teams that I have done, so probablly wont do them.

I've uploaded a bunch of Boston/New England Partiots uniforms to FBMax.com. My intention is to create uniforms that will show the evolution of the team's uniforms and helmets. Some teams made frequent changes and others did not. Just like nmleague I'm not trying to be exact. I will be releasing more uniforms for Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Chicago and Arizona in the next few days. I'm also not trying to step on anyone's toes by releasing any uniforms that have already been done or are very similar to another year's uniform. As far as I'm concerned, the more the merrier.

Here are the 1960 Boston Patriots

Uploaded to fbmax the zips for the 60s era AFL teams, Buffalo, Kansas City, Oakland, Denver and San Diego. The files contain, uniforms, field art and helmet logos. They are in the unsorted sections now.

I think Lucas did the current Jets, which is pretty much the same as the AFL Jets, green's a little darker but that's about it. There are 2 other teams that could be done though.. I'll probably do both later in the week. The Dolphins and the Bengals (Miami started in 1966, Cincy in 1968). Then of course there's all the field art & logos for the teams I've done.. which, I dont know when I'll get around to doing. I personally dont care as much about that stuff as I do the uniforms.

Silly me.. did I say later this week? I meant tonight. Silly boredom...

1972 Dolphins

I am noticing one bad thing about doing the older teams. Almost all of them had sleeve numbers and stripes - which, on the shorter sleeves the game uses, you really can't do and make them look right. You either have to smash the numbers down, or put them on the shoulders, which is what I've been doing for most of these.

And, last but not least, the 1968 Bengals. I also included an orange prototype jersey. It never made the field, but I've seen an AFL inspired painting from that era which depicted 2 players from each team on it.. the 2 Bengal players shown were in this uniform.

I think your current Cardinals uniform is a little bit off. I know they have some goofy white stuff on the sleeves/side panels, but I think it's more under the sleeve and not out on the sides like that.

I know any uniform I do is not 100% accurate. Sometimes this is due to the 3D model. Othertimes it's due to the pictures that I use as a reference. You really need to find a picture of a uniform laid out flat. Most sites that sell jerseys have pictures with the shirt on a hanger so you can't see the whole sleeve. Most players in the NFL have their sleeves cut or taped so that they will not be held, especially the linemen. If anybody has a good source for uniform pictures, let everybody know so that we can make the uniforms as accurate as possible.

I found this photo of James' jersey on ebay.
