This will not be a problem. If I can sell people jail I can sell freezers to Eskimos.

You've still got a ways to go. A Danish company has found a way to sell sand to the Saudis...

And we wonder why gas is $3 a gallon. If they have money to spend on sand we are doomed.

One word -

Concrete

The sand in Saudi is so fine it's like flour, and makes for poor quality concrete. We, on ze other hand, have very good sand and loads of experience in making very high quality concrete. Thus, selling sand to people who live in a desert. Clever, neh?

Lemme guess:

"You need pure DANISH sand for manufacturing silicon chips! You can't just use nasty, homegrown Saudi sand!!"

EDIT: durned security slows stuff up and causes more crossing posts...

When I am not honoring the Thread I am busy convincing people that jail isn't so bad and they should just tell me what they did. In 3016 days (not that I am counting or anything but it is August 14th 2014 and a Monday) I am going to use this same skill to sell used cars.

Sell people jail?? You're not getting into my living room.

You would be suprized how easy it is. You get some 2 bit burglar who has been a criminal all his life and you explain to him that 3 hot meals a day and a roof over his head is better than the life he is living now. Throw in a weight room and drug rehab (which is what forced him against his will into a life of crime in the first place) and it starts to look good. I've had them start confessing to crimes I did even know about yet.

Sincerity is everything and now that I can fake that getting confessions is easy. I have convinced rapists that I understand that it wasn't their fault and that they need help. They just have to tell me what really happened and what "Made" them do it. Add some bluffing and BS and they all end up in jail.

Everyone has the right to remain silent but few people have the ability.

Ok. This actually makes sense. Although you would think that they could find it closer than Denmark...OH! That reminds me!!

Ever consider a life in politics? On the other hand, maybe you should stick with used car sales, its more honest work.

I remeber just prior to the Gulf War in 91, I was watching news of a clip from Baghdad and I saw in the background a gas station selling gas for 2 cents a liter (I did the conversion).

Of course, we COULD start adding some of Nik's foibles to the list, (i.e. Nik has a fetish about punting cats; Nik prefers Doc Martins for punting cats) - however, if we did that, the List would be as long as The Thread!!

My wife is a teacher and I have considered running for the school board on the Darwinist ticket. Some kids need to be left behind for the good of the herd. Costs 8K a year for an average kid but 30K for a special ed kid becuase they each get their own aid and are put in the regualr class room. I say stick them all in retard room with one teacher and save the $. Besides, it will boost the kid's self esteem to be the smartest of the dumb kids ratrher than the dumbest of the average kids. The other option is to let the parents pay the differnce.

After that I would make all athletics club sports and let the parents pay for it. No need for my tax money to go for your kid to play with a ball. Public education is for education, not for sports. Let them go to clubs outside of (and not costing) the schools and the taxpayers.

Wife says my views are a bit too radical and that I have a bad tendancy to speak my mind.

Damn. I think I'm going to have to start my longest PBEM over again. Been playing it almost a year and we're to Jul 42. He has a couple of ports where he can't load any ground units in the Central Pacific. Before you ask all the usual questions, yes everything checks out.

If we do start over, we'll probably go with Nik's mod.

Any suggestions?
