I can't fine anywhere in the manual the explanation for the color codes on the player cards. Thanks

Basically green is good, red is bad, yellow, orange, blue are in-between.

As for potential, an up arrow green means the guy still appears to be improving, a yellow dash means he has leveled off, and a red arrow down means he appears to be on the decline.
