Looking for a Japanese player who thinks they can pick up a game in midstream.

I am an average player who has only 1 other PBEM game in progress (TEAM with Feinder vs. Parker/Kbullard if you were wondering) but I do have a deep advisory panel if you know the reputation of any of my opponents or my brother (Feinder).

I am in this for the long haul, been playing since release and see no reason to stop any time soon.

I am slower paced 3-4 turns per week on average due to a new son and an exhausting (at times) job.

Game: Stock scenario 15, standard map, upgrades are ON. Not sure if subs are on auto.

Sitrep: It has been 3 months since my opponent quit so my details may be foggy. I have the complete game (minus a turn or so) on Bodhi's utility for review if you want it.

It is June of 42. SRA is basically conquored except for the final push on Timor. China is a zoo. American CVs are intact as is KB. Pretty much standard fare around the board.

We can negotiate any house rules. I am flexible and understand some of the issues that are out there. I prefer NOT to play a lunacy style game, but who knows although I doubt it would be possible to lunatic this one since it "starts" in June. I just hate to throw away the work that went into this game if someone is looking to pickup a 6 month old game.

EDIT: Russia IS activated but stood down. Recons only unless IJN wants to launch an attack. He wanted the ability to do it, but think he decided against it when China turned into a maelstrom. When Soviet or IJN reinforcements show up and attack in that theater, we just try to remember to stand them down. No big deal. Honor rule on keeping standard commitment level there.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Hi,
I am willing to answer the challenge. Iam an average experienced player (well according to some not that average... in any case Iam an "historymaniac" with a knack at strategic wargames and very familiar with the pacific war history).
Anyhow I too had a PBEM running several months ago and I too lost my opponent so I would be willing to play with you if you agree.
Iam not used to taking on a game started by someone else but well lets see ...
Due to RL, I too can do 3turns/week (max 4 in some cases but I cant guarantee that every week).

please send answers/file with pwd to BenoitPiton@yahoo.com

This is one reason I can not yet play PBEM.  I do not want to leave my opponent in the lurch by having to quit.  I can not devote a lot of time consistently to this game.  I play in spurts and starts when I have time.  I do enjoy these forums.  Thank you Matrix Games and fellow gamers.

Don't let that stop you, there are plenty of others just like you. I have two 'third' games that have all somewhat fizzled, but if my opponents come back to those games, I'll certainly play them out.

I have no problem with the 10 year plan on some of my games, since there are times that I have lots of free time and then other times when WITP has to just wait a bit.

When I bought this game I thought I would only play against the AI.  I have enjoyed reading these forums but I am somewhat of an introvert but I think it will be fun and when I have done some training against the AI, I will seek someone out in this forum.
