Much of the same. So, we shall review the different fronts.
Northern China has been overrun by the Japanese; only one base force unit remains between the Japanese and the Russians at the extreme NW of the map.
Central China: Allied forces have stabilized the front here, but no offenssive actions are possible. In Chungking the allied forces have been unable to dislodge the enemy forces, but at the same time, it doesn't seem like they will be dislodged any time soon.
In the south of China, the Japanese have reached the end of the railroad lines, but it does not seem like they can advance much further at this time. The Burma road remains cut just East of Lashio.
In Burma, allied forces still hold on to Mytkivina.
In the DEI, the Japanese now have cleared all allied forces from Timor. Strong allied forces await the enemy in Darwin, and in the north of Australia.
The Japanese have seized Port Moresby, and have advanced as far as Espiritu Santo.
Allied forces have garrisoned the Noumea, SUva, Pago Pago line with at least division size forces. Several large convoys are en route with additional supplies and forces

Allied forces await, and wonder, where the Japanese hammer will fall next.....

With the enemy carriers missing in action, the allied command is at a loss to determine shipping routes to and from Australia. By this time KB could be anywhere in the vicinity of Suva or Canton island. Further search assets are brought in the area, but it might be too late for the allies to react once KB is found.

Allied sources indicate a Japanese invasion is in porgress in Broome, in the remote Australian north. Response is difficult due to the remoteness of the site. It is suspected that the Japanese have selected the site due to its large airfield. Reinforcements are on the way

The fall of Broome complicates the supply problem of Darwin.
Shortly before Broome was attacked, a task force of one AK and one TK, plus escorts succeeded in reaching Darwin, and unloading. While the Japanese hold Lautern, Koepang and AMboina they can attack the northern Ozzie shore with Betties or Nells. these are great antiship bombers, but there are only so many of them to go around. With Broome inhand, they can place Dells and Kates there and close off the Western approach. The Betties can then deploy from PM and the result is the same, but the Betties will then have a greater influence in Coral Sea ops.
The Australian HQ has decided that priority one is to kick the yellow b*stards out of Australia
