ORIGINAL: Lions Just looking into this game and I wonder if there is any acrade mode to play agaist the computer? You can play it against the computer, yes. It doesn't have to be multi-player! However, this game is about stepping into the role of the GM - making roster moves over many seasons - or the Manager, making roster moves within a single season and 'calling the plays' within an individual games. You do not ever control an individual player in the classic 'arcade game' style - if that's what appeals to you, I think you'd want the EA Sports title. Also, because of the focus on season-after-season play, you can't play "just" an individual game or an individual series - e.g., you can't say, "Hey I want to play the 1999 Yankees against the 1973 Reds" - and just play that as a single game. You could create a season with, say, 8 teams, and put the 1999 Yankees and the 1973 Reds into that season, along with the 1936 Yankees, the 2005 Cardinals, the 1908 Dodgers, etc.
