Does anybody know how to substitute players when you are playing a game? I've read the manual and it says to click on the player icon that you want to sub, which I have no idea what that means or how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

When the program displays the 'Select Play' screen, you'll notice that there is a display of the formation with grey disks, representing the players, with a player's jersey number in each disk. I use the mouse as the controller, so I just click on any of the disks, and a menu pop ups that will allows me to replace the player.

I don't know what keys you would use to do this if you're using the keyboard interface to play the game.

Thanks for the help. However, I noticed that if you sub a player, sometimes the player doesn't come out immediately. He usually comes out the following play. Does anybody else notice this?

I had a lot of trouble substituting at first. I kept forgetting to click "done". Once I got past that bit of dumbness I noticed that the substitution did not appear to transfer to a diferent formation. I guess you have to make the changes each time you change formation. If I am right about that (and not simply wallowing in stupidity) then it really needs fixing. Any substitution should be good across all formations until another sub is put in. My own current trouble is that if try to make more than two or three substitutions in a row the whole game freezes on me. This is not a play clock problem since I have that on no limit until I get familiar with all the options. I have my fingers crossed that the third update will make substitutions easier.
