Apologies in advance for this (stupid) question. i am waiting for a new PC to replace my old WinMe machine but I simply can not wait until the new PC arrives to download TOAWIII. Is it possible to download TOAWIII to the old machine and then "transfer" it to the new PC or should I just wait for a few more days until the new PC arrives....(the waiting is just killng me)

and btw thanks to everyone at Matrix for all the hard work

The download is a standard Windows-type installer (about 230 Mb). Burn it to a CD, put it on a memory stick, or whatever you want, and then just reinstall when your new box arrives. No problems at all...

This shouldn't be a problem, see the thread here dealing with roughly the same question.

BTW, you're LOK from Global Conflict fame don't you? Please check your PMs.

Cheers

Marc

Nah thats 'Hide the salami' followed by 'WITP' but I'll go for TOAWIII as a close 3rd.

How does War in the Pacific compare with TOAW. I have been tempted to buy in the past when TOAW seemed to be dead. Does it model ground combat well enough or is it mostly air/naval game? Can you make new scenerios? (i assume they are limited to the Pacific theater in WWII)

WitP is a very good naval game with a decidedly average land model taped on. And I'm saying this as a die-hard WitP fanboy. It's sort of the reverse of TOAW, which is a very good land game, with a decidedly poor naval model taped on.
