Shaun or anyone who can help,

One of my favorite leagues I have done recently in the OOTP series is having a random debut historical/fictional league. With OOTP, there are CSV files seperate for the master, hitting, pitching, etc. that the game pulls info from, and some that it doesn't. While messing around with the demo, I tried to do that with the Lahman that's included in Access format, and it doesn't look like it imported the way I would hope. Is there anybody working on this type of file and if not, are all of the Lahman pieces of the MDB needed to be edited for it work the way I want, because the only ones that I fixed were the master, hitting, pitching and I think one of the fieldings? Thanks to anyone who can help.

I created one this weekend. So far it looks pretty good. It has Willie Mays and Bobby Bonds debuting in 1901. But I havent really tested it much. I know it imported and I was able to complete a draft with it.

How many players do you have coming in a year? Which ones did you have to edit them? All of them?

I extracted the master table to excel and changed all the debut years by a random number formula and then adjusted the rest of the tables by what the difference was on each players random debut. The number available per year could vary depending on how the random numbers turned up. The first few years I looked at were around 80 or 90 per year.

The 80 or 90 is low It was more around 100-125. I was able to fill up a 14 team 35 man roster with real players in 3 years with only a few fictional players per team.

I made one more new random database.   This one Im starting my league in 1940 and randomizing everyone that had their debut after 1940.   I also included about 400 of the top players that debuted prior to 1940.   This way there is about 150 per year.
