So, you are selling "niches"??

LOL. Check out their website - www.riverbed.com

OK, I looked at the site. Now can you translate this into English (Or American as the case may be). I have no idea what the company does but it does not involve rivers, beds, or riverbeds. Keep in mind that I am not tech savvy.

i think it boils down to:

"Do you want to go Faster?!"

(for computer networks)...

Does anyone else find this ironic given Speedys nick? Is that how you got the job Speedy?

LOL Niceguy. It must have been my nickname

Yes in short this company has developed a nichish product that potentially speeds up WAN's by 95%. The benefits of this are pretty obvious to some companies.

Spreading Worldwide now. Looking to crack Belgium/Holland at the mo. They are currently all across the US, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, UK, Singapore, South Africa and Japan.

Sanfrancisco is cold, damp, and gloomy year round. It should remind him of home.

I hope the weather doesn't have the same effect it has on some Seattle residents. Too much rain and coffee can cause people to go over the edge.

San Fran is much different than Seattle. Instead of rain and coffee, it's gentle breezes and weed.

OK - here is a question that has come to mind?

What is the most "functioning" torpedoes a ship has been hit with and eventually made it back to port, or if in port, did not sink at its moorings?

By "functioning", i mean torpedoes that hit a ship and had full-order explodsions (not fail to explode, not "squib" explosions.)

Don't give example like "ship x was hit by umpteen torpedoes, but didn't sink until it was hit by umpteen plus one"... Ship has got to survive the experience without settling to the bottom...

EDIT - Oh, yeah - i'm talking real life here, not WITP...

There's a big, fat fly buzzing around my apartment. I'm a little leery of trying to kill it, because I think it would just take the flyswatter away and go after me with it. The thing's the size of a B-25!

Get a cat. I have one I can lease you that specializes it flys.

Not sure that T. wouldn't prefer offing the cat to offing the fly...

Geez guys. I take a day off (3 day weekend - Wohoo!) and play a few turns and sleep past 0530 and don't log in here. What do I come back to? 9 pages of blather. Don't any of you guys play WitP any more?

Of course not. You think I'd have time for nearly 11,000 posts in this place if I actually PLAYED the game?

OK - now without looking at the game, spell the name of the city in Burma (starting with an M) that everyone always fights over trying to open the Burma Road...

Ok, in my PBEM I'm at 29 Jul 42. I get the Tony and Tojo in a couple of days. Damn Oscars are death traps. The Tony (I think) uses the Kawasaki engine. It's single engine, right? Just planning.....

I have 700+ engines sitting in my pool just waiting (probably rusting).

The monster fly buzzed off on its own accord. I think it got tired of looking at me cowering under my bed.

You know, a dragonfly!

Ok, another WitP question for you Japanese geeks out there. (You never answered my first one. ) How long do you guys use the Tony and Tojo? Just trying to figure out how many engines to produce.

While I'm at it, I'll ask another question that you guys will just ignore. I have some 3500 Mitsubushi engines in my pool right now (29 Jul 42). At what point should I stop production? I know I'll use them eventually, but do I produce a bigillion of them now or stop and start (like I do with airframes) as I need them? I am of the opinion that I should build a bunch because I only need a few types (Mitsubishi, Nakajima, Kawasaki and Aichi).

It was probably just as scared as you....arguing with itself:

"Come on, you can do it! Look, it's hiding under the bed! It's scared! Feast!"

"But it's HUGE and GRUMPY!"

Next question: What is the best way to use the Tony and Tojo? I see a lot of people use them together, but I've heard that one is better than the other as a bomber killer and the other as an interceptor.
