How do you hold the bat? In your beak, or duct-taped to your flippers?

The "idiots are filling our roads" tale continues:

A couple of days ago, a 22 year old man (without a driver's license) ran a red light at an intersection, doing 60 mph in a 30 mph zone. He hit an 18 year old woman on a bicycle, tossing her 120 feet through the air and killing her. When the police questioned him, he admitted to having had beer and taken amphetamine before getting behind the wheel. Here's the kicker: after interrogation, HE WAS RELEASED.

The next day, this piece of slime was rearrested, after several politicians had been on the evening news and delicately hinted that releasing him might negatively impact the population's faith in our justice system.

It should be against the law to complain that soccer is boring then present baseball as the "non-boring" alternative.

Too bad we can't post videos here. I have a great baseball one. It would get this shut down again though.

I like that penguin video of one of Faber's super secret, elite fighting forces. You know, all the penguins tripping over the wire. I still love it.

The "idiots are filling our roads" tale continues:

I've been hearing that there is a big flap in England about people getting "light" sentences and the general population getting upset. Lesson we're still trying to learn in the States is don't let your politicians muck about with the judicial system or it will surely be sc#$ed! The media will hype all the exceptions and portray them as the norm until the general population is all stirred up (to sell more papers) and the politician then become obligated to "fix" the system, which they never do they just add more problems. The problem with systems is that they are run by people and you'll never change that!

I agree with Faber, have a glass of wine and watch the World Cup.

Those penguins are masters of follow-the-leader. Truly world class.
