is there any way to control the screen resolution ?

reading the text on my 1680x1050 LCD display is difficult

(CotA is gorgeous at this resolution )

You would have to change the default desktop resolution of your display. If you can live with the fuzziness, that running an LCD in non-native resolution results in, you can go to whatever level you want, with a minimum of 640x480. I would recommend trying something around 1152x864 though, so that you retain the rounds used display on the circlet of stars in the display panel. That's a 4:3 aspect ratio, so you may get some letterboxing on the sides, depending on your display drivers, since you've got a 16:10 display.

thanks, changing the desktop resolution is the trick

and 1152x864 gives the best compromise between play area and readability
