Hi,

Have a question regarding a problem I face setting up my train program : I am playing against the AI, on Ab'extended map, it is Mid feb and I have taken all Luzon, I have Clark stacked with Special base force, 2 Air regts and 2 air Hqs. I have 448 planes there, but just built it up to level 9 Af. I want to train bombard on Lamon Bay, which I left allied in purpose, but I can't get the planes to take of...

I know there is no unit there, so maybe ground attack doesn't work, but I have try to set Airfield attack as welle ( maybe it doesn't work because Lamon Bay is AF 0 ) and POrt attach, Lamon Bay is Port 3 so I guess it should work...

any idea on what I am doing wrong ?

I have checked that I can train on other bases, ( Iloilo worked ) but I can't get it to work on Lamon Bay which is just one hex away , and I would really like to use it ot minimise Ops losses.

That's because there is no airfield there.

Keep reconing it, and use port attack.
Recon will increase the DL (detection level) and increase the chance of attacks going home.

Thanks, I guess I had just tried port attack a couple of times, but now it works like a charm... I hadn't thought about the DL thing.
