I've gotten a reputation for making "pretty" slides. Big mistake. *Walks away grumbling*

Maybe something JRR wrote or said contradicts this, but I still say it reads like research.

Fair enough. After all, it was the one that he had not completed before he died. He was apparently "close" to being done, but as a real bear for consistency he did not finish. The subsequent Chris Tolkien compilations (for ex Unfinished Tales &c) ARE the development notes.

I wish he'd had time to finish Silmarillion and then continue to write. There's alot that is really cool about the dwarves that is only tangentially mentioned in Silmarillion and LotR.

Nope, not hard working, just anal. The slide needs to be perfect. I can't stand when you scroll through a bunch of slides and the title jumps all over the place. Little things like that are easy to fix but most people don't bother.

I think I'm the perfect Witp player. Gotta be anal for this game.

Want a job Mike? lol

The project I'm working on is nearing beta release and we are down to about the last 1500 nitty gritty details . This is not my strong suit. If life is a building I'm an architect and a framer; I need a fine craftsman or wood worker to finish up the details.

Edit: in fact all this fine detail is making me very surley

And the word for the day is homophobic.

ALthough I have to admit, it was uncomfortable for me when they kept mentioning anal and painful in the same post. Made me cringe.

Well if the word anal bother T, then we wouldn't want to say anal again, because anal can be an uncomfortable word if you keep reating anal all day long...

So the options are anal retentive or not housebroken...that's a tough call.

And thus we have this conversation:

PFC - "Sir we have this screwed up Powerpoint file. What should we do with it?"

COL - "Give it to Major Solli. He's twisted, so it will make perfect sense to him!"

I would like to point out that I'm in no way homophobic... I just don't like the word "anal" in general...

Well, ideally i think you are supposed to wait a bit before trying to housebreak your rugrats - maybe start around 1 year or so.

Ever wondered where "homophobic" came from? Most of the time, fear isn't the issue. It's more likely "disgust" or "queasiness" or "knee-bending nausea".....

Notice I said that without using the word anal?
