I was checking my units prior to the 19th battle in my long German campaign and I noticed some interesting developments. Sergeant Baumann’s 88 mm ATG had 66 kills (13 more than the runner up)! I also had a company commander promoted to Major and one of the infantry platoon leaders had made Captain.
Anyone else care to share their great heroes’ accomplishments?

In my Long Romanian campaign I have few interesting details:

After ten battles two of my Pz-III commanders - câpitan Lazarian and sergent Bucurescu - have 85 kills. The boost started as soon as their R-1 and R-2 armours were changed to Pz-III's. I wonder why...

Sergent Florescu, leader of 120mm Mortar - former 100mm Howitzer - has 30 kills (13 from the last battle).

Wow! My best panzer leader only has 30 kills. Way to go!

Well Enhanced will rain on your parade if you play it. I got stuck with an assault on the first mission and my assualt companies have suffered heavy losses as well as follow on Panzer companies. Several platoons of Infantry have simply ceased to exsist. And I have probably lost 8 to 10 tanks due to ambushes by infantry and 37 mm antitank guns. These are NOT the poles of previous additions. I dread to think what will happen against British and French tanks in 40, not to mention Soviet tanks in 41.

I didn't think that they could enhance the AI, just tweak the OOB's and add art work and other cool stuff.
My first battle was also an assault against a crapload of entrenched Poles. Have you posted an AAR?

Changing a few ratings here and there does wonders

8.4

I'm not sure will I ever finish that campaign. Probably I'll start a new one with Enhanced.

The ratings are so close together on all but a couple countries that it is a blood bath. Wait till the germans try to take on the Soviet T-34's , they are all ramped up in crew quality and leadership that you will have a truely difficult time.

And dont forget the enhanced DROPS German troop quality from 40 to 41. The only sort of excuse I got was that maybe the german troops would be mad at having to fight in the Soviet Union.

German troop Exp goes UP in 41
not down.
Troop morale goes down 5 points in 41,
its still higher than Ruskies.

BTW I wasnt aware we needed an "excuse" for anything.

I see...so everyone now wants to go back the "arcade style" settings for gameplay? Why not pick up one of the latest WWII FPS games, if that's the kind of "game" you all want to play?
