In my first PBEM (what a great improvement over the AI!) playing Nikmod w/ AB Map mod. Since we've started, Nikmod has upgraded to version 7.0 Can we upgrade during the current game by installing the newest version?

you can't upgrade Nik mod or CHS in the middle of game play. Only pathces released by matrix allow you to upgrade midgame

And even there most times the OOB won�t be upgraded...
