Hi All,

I've not yet purchased TOAW-III, but I have been keeping an eye on the bug reports etc

Basically I already own TOAW, TOAW 2 and TOAW-COW, the latter which has always ran happily for me under WinXP - but if I have a compelling argument for a problem-free TOAW-III I'm sure I can talk myself into purchasing it :)

Because I don't own TOAW-III, I can't see the beta patch in the registered owners downloads, hence I've no idea what the new patch does and does not fix.

Would it be possible to have the readme file posted here?

Thanks,

Damien

If you're talking about the 3.0.0.17 patch, the readme is here, in the first post of the TOAD tuesday thread.
Hope it helps.

Thanks very much - I missed that thread cos I jump directly into the Support and Beta sub-forums!

Not present in the file are some fixes which had been raised regarding bugs in certain scenarios (sorry I don't have the actual thread nor the patched scenario I downloaded off the forums in antipication of buying TOAW-III) - but I believe it may have had something to do with invalid reinforcement entry points (???)

Apart from the scenario changes to highlight single playability vs PO, have any of the scenarios been updated to correct problems - or is this something which is expected to happen outside of the official Matrix support for TOAW-III (in which case, I read another thread regarding a TOAW-III scenario archive in the Matrix Members Area - as the definitive scenario location for TOAW-III scenarios as opposed to the Wargamer and Rugged Defense - is this likely to be set up?)

Thanks again,

Damien

You may be referring to a bug that prevented unit reconstitution, among other things. If so, this has been fixed in the 3.0.0.14 patch that you can find here.

Thanks again,

Two minor corrections have been made in the WWII - East Front folder but, as of now and as far as I know, the task of addressing problems with scenario design rests squarely on the designers' shoulders.

Regarding the archive you're mentioning, I don't know.

Cheers
Marc

This is correct.
