Nicely done Mike, but what are you doing cluttering up our important page with such trivial information.

So the moral is: Always take the popsicle over the Tony when escorted.

One of the 2.

Or both!!

Finally made it home - post commute, post dinner tithe...

Arghhh - someone beat me to the idea...

Sigh - well, i had a conversation with the new boss (at least i think he is the new boss).

It is apparent to me that they are no closer to telling us what is going to happen than they were weeks ago, and i think they are just shining us on.

So, time to start sending out the CVs.

Is CV a synonym for resume?

Technically no. A curriculum vitae, or CV, is typically more widely accepted in the academic world. It is never brief and will contain detail about research and papers published. A professor for instance would think nothing of a 20 page CV. A resume is intended to be much more of a synopsis. Back when I was recruiting I would shoot a candidate who's resume was more than 3 pages.

However, CV and resume have become much more interchangeable and I often see them used that way.
