ORIGINAL: Ursa MAior in the EU if you like it cold : Finnland, Sweden. of you like it hot : Malta, Spain I don't know malta, but if the reason you're leaving your country is because hypocrit or uncapable politicians, you'd better stay away from Spain. Here the political climate is best described as a level-10 hurricane. Worse storms than in Venus. Political actuality in spain is looking at how the pro-government parties (independentists included) insult the opposing party (Popular Party), and vice-versa. In this god-blessed nation we have a goverment which is tearing the nation's integrity apart. As they need catalonian support to stay in power, they've given them a new authonomy act which de facto makes Catalonia a State of a Federal Spain...except for the fact that Spain is no federation...and that the rest of regions don't have such priviledges. In this sunny, fine, nation, we have a government who in order to win populism votes, they have no problems in relieving ETA (Euskadi ta Askatasuna, Basque independentist terrorist group) from all the political pressure they were receiving in the last 10 years, since the 1996 popular party's rise to power, which had left them almost defenceless. Now ETA is rising from it's ashes again...and the government now wants to "talk" with them...in fact what the government wants is to end their terrorist activities AT ANY COST, NO MATTER THE PRICE they (us, Spain) has to pay... to then "sell" the news to the people that they've achieved peace (of course what they will try not to say is AT WHICH COST). And all of that...ignoring the suffering and loss of thousands of families who had to see one of their relatives cowardly killed by a gun shot on the head, or by a bomb under their car. And above all, in this unique nation of the world, we have a government who rose to power over 250 victims of a terrorist attack, followed by 3 days of media and PSOE (part now in government) deceit ,lies and confabulation against the party then in government (popular party, PP). It's today well known that many "proof" found after 11-M was fake and placed on spot to mislead public opinion towards thinking al-qaeda had something to do with the bombs and so cause Popular Party's fall from power because their support to Irak invasion by USA. It's still unclear today wether al-qaeda had something to do with the bombings or not. Proof seems to point out that they had nothing to do with it. PSOE spent 3 days before the elections yelling the bombings were done by al-qaeda and that as such, government's responsability of the 250 deaths and thousands of injured. since 11-M (terrorist attack day) and 14-M (general elections day) PSOE remorselessly took advantage of the pain and suffering of thousands of families, of the shock those bombs caused, and used it in the worse way possible just to win some votes. They have no decency. During those 3 days PSOE yelled to the four winds that the spaniards deserved a government who told them the truth. Yet since the day they rose to power they've been constantly lying about 11-M attacks, and trying to cover up and close the investigations as soon as possible, because every proof which was being found compounded the fact that 1- the attacks had nothing to do with Al-qaeda and Irak. PSOE said they did. 2- there was a lot of fake proof put on several scenes. Including bombs in bags, a trunk with fake proofs ,etc, which in the investigation summary have been proven as fake. Those "proofs" were bassic for PSOE to claim government was lying between 11-M and 14-M. 3- the interrogatories held before the investigation comittees saw and proved several "witnessess" (according to PSOE) to be blatantly LYING. 4- the spanis forces of order and security, more precisely, the Guardia Civil, had enough proof to know there was a terrorist attack on the works way before 11-M. Allegiance of those commands who knew about it was to PSOE and not PP. They said nothing and gave no word of warning. People of the guardia civil who cooperated have seen their careers change to quick gear and ascended in their professional status. Those who after the attacks denounced what had happened saw it stopped...or were even killed in VERY strange ways. etc etc etc 250 dead, thousands of wounded. PSOE scalated all over them in order to achieve power no matter the costs. And seeing their quickness in closing the 11-M investigations as fast as possible (and so fast that their conclussions are -forcedly- unconclussive...) we have only two choices. 1- PSOE was part (at least knowing about it in advance) of a massive terrorist plot which caused a massacre at madrid, on day 11-March-2004, in order to cause a major turnover of the electoral intentions of a nation which was called to vote 3 days after. I don't really believe this choice, but there is quite a lot of circumstantial proof pointing towards this (the Guardia Civil part is really shocking). 2- PSOE saw the bombings, simply cared nothing about the victims and chose to lie, yell, accuse, WHATEVER in order to change the electoral vote of the 14-March general election...and afterwards when the investigations started showing the PP was mostly right and that what they (PSOE) had done was so shameful that they would be hated in all of Spain if they were to go on, they chose to close such investigations so the real story behind the 11-M madrid bombings will be -NEVER- be fully known most of what's coming out about the attacks has been published by a newspaper...the investigation parlament comittees did nothing to find the truth, they just covered the fact that a comitee had to be created, and then they were ordered by government to close the investigation as fast and painlessy for PSOE as they could. Those who were yelling that the spanish people deserved a goverment who didn't lie to them, have lied and thrown sand over all the 11-M events to keep it as silent as they can, in a major cover operation that still lasts up to this day...and will follow the same for the time being. In both cases, those who cooperated in those things could perfectly be brought before a court of justice and trialled as criminals. In short...if you're looking for sunny beaches and a beautiful place to live on, come to spain. if what you want is running away from corrupt politics...better go elsewhere. Few so-called democratic nations have a CRIMINAL legally-elected goverment in place. Spain is one of them.
