Hi, this question is directed toward those users who make uniforms. I know that most users make uniforms for Max football with Paintshop Pro. Which one is the best one to use? I already know that newest Paintshop Pro is $80, which I don't have. So if anyone could answer this question, I would appreciate it.

Well i use the new one i guess psp 10 , it seems to do a good job . Have yet to do any layering with it , use the basic uniform sets a lot from fb.max . I do find it`s easier to shrink images for helmets and field graphics better by using gimp to rezise . But most people i hear from here seem to like psp a lot .

I have had about the last 4 versions of PSP, and I would say you could use any version from about 6 on. So if you can find a cheap version beyond 6 get it.

There are a number of freeware programs that will let you accomplish the same thing if you don't want to spend any money:

Gimpshop is one alternative which is basically a program called Gimp that is made to look like Photoshop. Gimp has a lot of features that rival commercial software.
The other one is called Paint.NET. It is a newer one that has been getting a lot of support and some people find the interface easier to deal with.

I use PSP 7, it does the trick just fine.  Check Ebay, I got mine for around $40 but that was in 2003.

I use PSP version 5 and have had great success with it with MaxFB. I agree with others, earlier versions of PSP can still work edit art in MaxFB. Also, I think PSP is easier to learn then Photo Shop and much less expensive.
