i couldn't find the pic of "Nik's" cat quickly, but if you remember, it did LOOK like it had been sticking its nose in the commode! i tried using PAINT to modify another cat pic, but there is only so much i can do with that program...

I was out running this AM. It's amazing how an additional 5 degrees F can make all the difference in the world. I was running behind a young woman at the park and with all my wheezing and gasping she kept looking over her shoulder at me. Probably wondering if she was going to have to administer CPR.

Yeah, that must have been what she was wondering...

Well, either that or she was getting ready to turn around and mace me.

But she did pass me on the trail and then slowed down right in front of me. I mean it wasn't like I was trying to follow her or anything...what's a guy to do.

Well, that DOES put an entirely different complexion on the situation!

I'm sure I would have been trying to lift my head a bit higher so I could see past my toes, too.

Oh, believe me, I was looking past my toes. I actually managed an extra half-mile in fact.

No, the heat is what did me in, plus that whole having to go to work thing.

Edit: Ok, I just realized what I said and let me clarify for those with their minds still in the gutter. The temperature outside was too high.

Don't know how well this will go over here, but I went to a tie-dye party this weekend. It's an interesting event mixing beer (for the adults), kids, dogs and dye for clothing.

So that's where Bruce Powres has been all day.

... all into one large vat, then stirring.

You do get some interesting patterns, but end up with drunk multicolored children and dogs, and funny smelly clothes.

Not too far off the mark. Kids and dogs were thoroughly dyed. The t-shirts got a little on them too.
