Looks like we are going to spend the night talking about trademarks. I must think up a trademark. I will get back to you.

Close enough to get in trouble. Now step away from the computer, put down the pickled herring and place your hands behind your back.

Sad thing is right now the makers of "Zoing" are wondering why their website is getting so many hits.

I thought all Danes sat around eating pickled herring while wearing lederhosen and drinking warm beer. Just like all Americans are fat and talk on their cell phones while eating double hamburgers.

Don't tell me stereotypes aren't true.

Slight change of topic. T. D. 2 is in the Atlantic, north of Florida, sort of off Georgia.

It is located east of the South Carolina/North Carolina border. It looks like it will brush the Outer Banks and move back out to sea.

Are people in Cape Hatteras suprised when the hurricanes come and sweep the place away every single year? This must be God's way of telling you to move.

I hear a number of them are planning on suing God, its going to be a class action lawsuit.

For tonight's OT (i.e. WITP) subject, I've run into an interesting problem in my Downfall scenario. Due to the map scale, it will be impossible to implement the historical Japanese defensive plan.

Take Shibushi, for instance, which I've added as a dot base just east of Kagoshima. Under the Japanese plan, the area was meant to be defended by the 57th Army, consisting of four divisions. Two of these were meant to die in place defending the beaches, while the other two, plus one tank brigade, moved forward to counterattack the US landing forces. However, due to the 60-km hex scale, all four divisions and one brigade will be located in the same hex, and will all be subjected to the full US attack.

Thus, no counterattack force can be created, except by keeping it one hex back, and there's just not that much room on Kyushu. Grmbl...

Is your scenario going to be full map? If not you could redraw the map of Japan and add more hexes.

Assuming the place is not a one hex island, why not implement the strategy by placing the units in a diff hex. Same idea anyway.

Isn't the correct word Grumble?

"Redraw the map", he says, assuming that I haven't got the artistic skill of a plank of wood.

And we're talking low-grade wood here...

It's partial map...

Yeah, that sort of goes without saying. And I got rid of my lederhosen several years ago, thank you very much!
