It is T, is is.

Then off to Taunton to the VP's Mansion for a BBQ and then football, karting and tennis at his place Saturday morning.

Hope all are well.

Oh, sounds terribly exhausting... What's next, hopping on another VP's private jet to Bora Bora? Or Tora Bora, for that matter?

Thanks again Niceguy.

I plan to in time. At the moment I am genuinely finding it a shock to the system with the immensely different approaches to work (for a US company), the amount of work and the level of work.

All good stuff for the long term once I adjust through these next couple of weeks.

How about going to San Francisco?

Found out today I am 'required' there for 'new person' stuff from Monday 31st until Wednesday 2nd.

Plan to fly out Sat/Sun and fly back Thurs.

This is genuinely tiring. Need to adapt.

Is that your training period, or does that come later?

That's the training period (in the US at least) which I am now told includes a presentation I have to do. God knows when i'll have time to do it since i'm in meetings from Monday-Wednesday next week

LOL. You will have to elaborate on the differences sometime. I have worked for a number of US firms, but I have never gone jetting off the the VPs mansion. Sounds like a grueling schedule you poor lad.

Seriously when life calms down I would love to hear more about it. Enjoy!

We need to start a meaningful discussion. Hmmmm.....what can we talk about.

The P51 was undoubtably the best piston engined fighter of WWII.

The ME 262 even if produced in numbers would have been a royal pain in the @#s to the Luftwaffe because it was a maintenance headache. The jumo engines had to be replaced after 20 hours of run time.

The Baltimore class cruisers were just 2nd rate ships we kept producing because we had the design.

The Iowa class were the most balanced of the WWII battleships.

The Tiger was only a mediocre tank because the Germans could not really produce them in quantity.

Let me think about this.
