It appears that territories of Britian and the British Empire are brown and the other western allied nations are Green. Is there any new difference between the two or is this just a cosmetic thing?

The colors are similar to those in WaW. You uncheck the "One Western Ally Icon" on User Preferences screen to achieve the effect.

Interesting AAR, I can't wait for the game! An Allied AAR would be cool if you have the time. The AI didn't do too badly although it was probably a little too conservative in 1942 when you were edging toward the AV. With the boost in production, I'm surprised it didn't fight a bit harder for Australia and India or counterattack a bit more aggressively.

BTW - You probably explained it somewhere, but I'm curious what put you over the top for the AV? How does AV work for the two sides?

Just the simple fact that I repaired the resources I had in wait in the Caucasus and then a few in SE Asia that were waiting.

The AV is higher than the original game, but it needs to be with the addition of strategic points. Also another aspect of this mechanic is (if you noticed the bold number on the bottom corner of the strat map ( Axis points high water mark so to speak) is the Axis can create a one over shift if they reach atleast 60 points at anytime in the game ie: if the game ends in a draw and the Axis have reached that 60 point level at least once they would end up shifting the victory conditions and achieve a marginal victory instead. Of Course that works both ways, dont make 60 and fight to the draw and it ends up a marginal loss.

I think what happened is i was pretty successful at denying the wallies their African and SoPac RP's and with the early attack into the Pacific the Wallies didn't get a chance to bank any RP's thus making the x3 mean nothing due to lack of rp's.

only the para have their increases tied to another unit.

And as for the 'Axis Blitz' its the total war ( same 39-46) campaign specifically designed to give the Germans extra population and resources so you dont have to give the AI ( or an inexperienced opponent) attack help or extra supply that can spoil the feel ( ie: whats the point of bombing factories when Russia or China has 3000 supply on the map? )

the wallied version of the same scenario is called 'Arsenal of Diplomacy'

ic, thats a good addition, esp. for AI axis as thats always RP or ppl thats the limiting factor towards the end of the game. and yes, that helps to improve the replay value of the single mode as i really dont like the present difficulty level due to the exact reason as stated in ur last thread.

Diplomacy , Democracy hmm those are different words, aren't they?

The 'Wallies pop/rp boost' scenario is called "arsenal of democracy"
