Could it be a round for triggering avalanches?

maybe by knocking down a mountainside!

Well, if you take down the mountain the skiers are using where will they ski?

Depends on if they are skiing the mountain when it is blowed up!

I just got back from our local Cuban restaurant (owned by Cubans). I think the word is spelled mojito.

I married one of them. Uh, actually I meant to say my wife is from NJ.

Mafia?

Actually, no. That would be my side of the family. I'm Italian (all four of my grandparents got off the boat. My wife is, uh, lets see, uh, Ukranian, Czech, English and Irish. What a mix. She made some good looking kids though. It's just about time to lock my daughter in her closet for the next 15 years or so.

I knew an Italian fellow once whose familiy owned a cement factory. For some odd reason he didnt like to talk about his family. But he did play hockey.

You dont have to lock her up. Just move someplace colder. It tends to discourage the more liberal forms of dress.

Umm...far easier solution readily available: just tell her boyfriends you're in the Mafia.

He's not high enough to be in the mafia. The mafia starts after you get a bird on your collar. When you get a star, your a made man.

She already knows what I'm going to do the first time she brings a boy home. I'll pull out one of my rifles (an old military one) and clean it while he's there. Then I'll explain that it's a military rifle and it was designed for one purpose - to kill people.

Thats too point blank, Mike. Do this. String some wire accross the living room and hang the entire family's undergarments on it. Then, make sure that every seat in the house has a spitoon. Then put on some camo boxer shorts and a wife beater with holes in the front and greet the young man while picking your nose on the front porch. This will convince the guy that due to genetic considerations, your daughter should not be taken out in public.

If that fails, sign her up for the school chess club.

I didn't figure Robert to be the beard type.

Youre bothered by the beard? I'm more puzzled by the beaver pelt hat.

Example: An officer and 2 enlisted men escape from the Japanese in Burma and make their way to Allied lines. The enlisted men are decorated "on the spot" - and the officer is reprimanded for having his uniform out of sorts!

In other words, all was right with the world.

Trivia question what is the following?

Note, those who cheat by Googling will be severly punished.

Sorry for the delay in answering...I know everyone has been racking their brains trying to figure it out. Apparently it is a munition called a "Davey Crocket". It's a nuclear "missile" with a range of 1000-6500 ft. I believe it was designed in the 50s and was a part of the US arsenal until 1971, though I may have remembered that wrong. I don't know about you but I would want to be more than 1000 ft away when a nuclear weapon is detonated.

A bit better than that - didn't know you wanted the name, just the fact it was a nuke.

It has a yield of 10 or 20 tons of TNT (selectable), but will probably kill everything within 400 meters due to radiation, and instantly kill everything within 500 feet.

It had 2 different kind of launchers - and could be fired about 1.25 miles with the "little" one, or 2.5 miles with the big one.

In the "Idiotic Criminal" section today, two would-be rapists were beaten up by their intended victim. Said intended victim was a 14-year old girl. They grabbed her as she was riding her bicycle, and she proceeded to karate the crap out of them...

I only did it because we had just gotten back from the Cuban place and my son happened to order 1.

It was just a coincidence. Really
