This is the result of me tinkering way too much with textures one wacky night...enjoy. By the way, it may sound corny, but no altering was done to these images I'm about to post other than sharpening, especially in the preview (for aesthetic purposes). This may be the best treatment a 1-15 team can receive from its hometown fans, I'm telling ya!

Here are some "unsharpened" ingame pics...the closeup of the helmet almost made me pee my pants the first time I saw it......

Away jersey and alternates still have to be made, along with some minor inaccuracies, but it should be my first official release on FBMAX within the week. I'm also interested in making some more college unis, especially the newer ones, like Ohio State's and maybe even Oregon's fugly ones...since the fantasy arena league is at a lack of ideas right now, I might try my hand at some pre-made stuff.

Anyway, I said I'd try and stretch the game's texturing capabilities for all they're worth, and I think I'm at least going on the right track. To achieve the mesh effect on this jersey, I actually went into a NHL 06 uniform template and extracted the individual mesh patterns, placed them on the jersey, did some sharpening and some adjustments here and there to bring the pattern out, and...well, it may look ambiguous ingame, but I'm at least trying to make noticeable changes to the existing textures present. More to come...

Here is the away. Alternates will be the next ones posted, although they're nothing special. I may even make classics, but, then again, they were VERY basic jerseys when they first entered the I-A or even in UB's days in I-AA.

Great job, Nick!

As an alumnus of UB from the mid-70's, when they didn't have a football team at any level, it still astounds me that they now have a Div. 1A team, no matter how bad it's been.

Whoa, just looked at the UB website and was surprised - the Bulls have a new logo, new helmet insignia, and new Nike jerseys this year! It'll be a pain playing NCAA 07 on 360 with those now-outdated UB jerseys. At least I have Maximum-Football to use them in...

The new Nike uni design is, surprisingly, actually more and less complex than the old ones simultaneously...

Expect a new update from me soon. Scratch that "06" outta that UB preview I have up there, it's time to roll out the old and break out the new.

Couple of quick screenies from the work-in-progress 2006 jersey...home's only done so far. As you see, I still need to work out a few kinks, such as the disparity in-between the thickness of the piping from the shoulders to the jersey portion of the texture (THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB, IMO) and matching every one of the colors due to the wrinkles in the jersey, as well as removing the last name from the back of the jersey by matching colors as well. Not to mention making a mock-up away jersey, due to the lack of sufficient pictures available on the internet of the new duds...

is the roster the actual team roster, or are they just the randomly generated players we've come to know and love?

Randomly generated for now, I'll put the whole team in once I'm done with the jerseys and assorted miscellaneous team art.
