I was going to look at the scenario "Slaughterhouse at Slazk", or something like that, and while watching the third German plane attacking Russian units at the beginning, I saw a Russian "Crewman" unit SURRENDER to the plane! Is this a known bug? Also, when loading the scenario with both German and Russian sides set to human control, the game asked me for a German password, which of course I don't know. If I start the game with the defaults (German=human, Russian=ai), I'm not asked for a password for anything. I don't understand. I wanted to see the Russian side to get a look at the unit that surrendered. Finally, is anyone else having a large number of the scenarios off the website fail to load? I dl'd about 13-14 and less than half actually run. The rest just return to the scenario selection screen with the top button on the right shadowed out. (If I posted this message twice, I'm sorry.)

Now that is a first! How did they surrender to the plane, I am wondering because it does not hang around. Maybe they just gave up period. Interesting. To see the unit, load the scenario into the editor, click on Russian deploy and look him up. You won't hurt anything as long as you don't resave the scenario (unless you want to). Which scenarios have you downloaded that gave you this problem? Did you unzip them first to three files and then load them into the game? Do you see their names in the scenario list? There should be three files with each scenario. How many did they have? And which scenarios, Ed? WB ------------------ In Arduis Fidelis Wild Bill Wilder Coordinator, Scenario Design Matrix Games

I was just about to mention that... Although in a helecopter at least you could then land and check their ids and do a bit of pre-processing before the main force arrives... -beetlecat

Ahh, see David's post.

Ooops. There seems to have been some unintended translation of the files. I dl'd the zip files, unpacked them, and whipped them into shape from Linux, and then transferred to DOS. Something bad must have happened during all that. This time I did everything but the initial download in DOS. No problems now. Sorry.
