Hello everyone,

I bought UV when it first came out and loved it. I got my copy out of the closet, dusted it off, loaded it and patched it to 2.41. 2 things I have noticed since I last played.

1. My PBY groups have about 60 pilots in them each and most of these pilots experience is in the high 80's and 90's! Why so many and why can't some of these guys be dolled out to the combat groups?

2. I am in April of 43 playing sc 19 I think and I had over 200 Dauntlesses in the pool. I noticed the number beginning to drop and thought new airgroups were about to come online, nope. Now I have 0 SBD's and just fought a major carrier battle and I can't replenish my DB groups. Any ideas?

I have not read through all the forums yet so sorry if this is discussed elsewhere.

Still love the game, looking at getting witp and wpo.

2.41 introduced a lovely bug for scenario 19 that "leaks" aircraft from the pools and sends them to Never-Never Land....

It affects the Japs too...

Great, I read 2.30 was the best patch, should I reinstall to that? That sux, I hope they start building back up again.

I think they're gone for good....

In fact now that your pools are empty, planes will now start to disappear from your air units that are already on the map.....

Definitely go back to 2.30 if you want to play this scenario.

Ok one last question and hope. Is there anyway to revert back to 2.30 without reinstalling the game?

Thanks for the help and info btw.

I would think it's somehow possible to revert back to 2.30 (I've gone back a version on EFII with no probs)....but others have tried to go from 2.41 to 2.30 with UV and it doens't seem to work without a reinstall....

I repatched to 2.30 and everything seems to be working fine. I now have SBD's again.
