Sorry for that newbie question, but I´m simply lost with all the different mods and version numbers. Can someone please post me the link to the newest RHS scenario, since I´ve up to now just downloaded the RHS stuff from RogueUSMC´s page and still lack the appropriate scenario.

Thanks!

It may be there is some confusion in terminology.

There are no "new RHS scenarios." There are a total of six - and other options are still in a project definition stage.

What HAS changed is the VERSION number for ALL RHS scenarios. This is not terribly important - since the product is reasonably stable. Since about version 4.10 we have mainly corrections in eratta and refinements of this and that. Further, some of the changes can be applied to ANY version of RHS:

notably you may use the newest pwhex.dat file (in the top level WITP folder) and the newest RHS map art (in the art folder) with ANY version of RHS. IF you DO use the newest pwhex file, AI will behave better with respect to moving oil and resources in Japan too.

4.2 is substantially about refinements in China, and refinements in the way the economy works - plus some eratta (for example fixing two art pointers - one of which was perfectly acceptable without repair but we had the perfect art - so why not use it?). The US economy is more "calculated" and less "automatic" with the new location file - so resources and industry can be attacked or even captured - and the need for things along the West Coast forces Salt Lake City (United States) to cough up various supplies - instead of filling its coffers to the 999999 level and doing nothing. It isn't terribly important why ships can load at San Francisco - they could before and they still can. It is better form - and recommended for new games - but not critical.

The latest RHS release is 4.24. It is uploaded directly to anyone on my list - and you can be on that list by sending your address to trevethans@aol.com. You can also ask for copies from Mifune or Cobra, or probably bbbf or others. And there are a number of download sites. From about Saturday we expect RHS to have two formal homes - watch for details to be posted by mifune or Cobra or AKDreemer.
