I'm sure this must have been asked before but I can't find where to turn off ships being built, or where to accellerate ship building. I,ve looked in the manual but can only find where it says that a player can do it, but not how to do it. I,ve looked at the games info screens for ships, bases, and shipyards, but haven't found anything there. Is it because I'm only looking at the first couple of turns of scenario 15? Is there a delay in days before this option becomes available? Thanks in advance for your help, Dave

From the Intelligence Report Screen select 'ship availability'.
From the list of ships presented the column headed 'Build status' (or similar) is where you click to cycle through NORMAL / ACCELERATED / HALTED. sometimes you won't be able to accel or halt, as there is a time limit set (see manual). Obviously this only works from Japan.

Thank you Tallyho thats it; intelligence screen--ship availability--build rate.

I kept going into the ship information screen and totally missed that build rate column.
