Ver 1.801
Stock Scenario - AB extended map
PBEM v MC3744

When a reinforcement group scheduled to arrive with an old aircraft (in this case Oscar I's) arrives because the designated upgrade (Tony) reaches the required pool level, the group arrives but the planes have disappeared!

I have just lost over 100 Tony's into the void, a dire predicament in my game against MC3744.

Save game available.

Still enough Oscar I's in your plane pool?

How do you know that you've lost over 100 Tony's? Did they vanish from your pool?

Not enough Oscar I's, so the air group looks for the next upgrade- which is Tony's. If not enough of either, then group is stuck on organising.

When enough Tony's are in the pool, the air group goes from organising to on map. But aircraft count is zero, and pools of Tony's have been depleted.

Which all means that my new airgroups suck up twice as many precious airframes as they should.

I don't know whether the bug is being triggered by the fact that it is an upgrade aircraft. Because of autoconvert, I can't build anymore Oscar I's.

This has been reported before.  Don or Joe would have to confirm but I think they are working on it.

OK, some more info.

Another group arrived, same deal (Oscar I group arriving as upgrade (Tony)), except this time with all aircraft ok and pools correct.

Only difference was that this airgroup arrived at a different base (Hankow, I think). So, this seems to be tied to Osaka.

There is indeed some work in this area in the next patch. Away from home and can't check for sure, but I think we have this one fixed.
