Marauders & anyone else, Keep in mind, while you read this that I expect quality and meeting the standard that is established by the best out there, especially if it the industry or public service has gone backwards. I both taken and passed higher education course in logic and a have one-college degree in Specific Learning Disabilities, 3-add on degrees/certificated in ESOL/MR/PE (was going take the test for 4th) from the most recognized school of higher education, in Florida-F.I.U. Being put in a closet to teach, students acting-out (faking sex and etc.) and weak support from administration and county. Coaching a position I had no passion for (played DE and think like a defender), yet always seemed stereotyped into, because I am a Vegan thin, valued education*, hard worker. *-Examples, told to have students run amok and study for my PE classes by Head Coach at the most awarded public HS in South Fl. My first coaching spot I was hired for was a school that respected education and 40+-years of both CFB (FSU) and HS coaching, almost the entire coaching staff and Principal (completely change administration), was moved to county paper shuffling jobs or fired because they had a 19 year old player and claimed a 6-period class, attended by their players, which never existed (FBI, IRS, Department of Education, M-DCPS). Since, my M-DCPS was still processing my paper work (I have no idea why it took so long-all paper work done) I was a waiting to receive the employment protections of a teacher, I was let go along with any remain everyone else in the same boat. I had to work as a substitute for a year (from the middle school with no discipline to the most awarded public HS in South Fl.) to get the job, at most awarded public HS in South Fl. I have actually taught civics/American history and coached TEs in Miami-Dade County, I was not happy and lost the passion; thus no longer a teacher/coach. Tutor students at Sylvan, but my passion left me again due weak (great person though) and terrible administrators (yellers during instruction) having to keep establishing a barrier between teaching environment, because lazy and clowning teacher aids. I always have liked working to make a difference with young children, just never liked getting to apoint with students and then cannot go on because of outside problems. I did all this while working (more than the average teacher) through the language Learning Disabilities, I have. I work hard than imagine most of you do to post my messages. Yes, I would say I made mistakes and could not work under the environments of ever changing environemnt (biggest negative for most people who deal with LDs), disrespect and low appreciation (reinforced by administration)-even from those that were also teachers. When it started to affect my self confindence and I realized I was going to either become those teachers that did not make a difference to surivive and I went into teaching counter-react or walk away, I left M-DCPS behind and later Sylvan. If we were outside The Internet you would either get along with me (like most do) or we not hang-out because you wanted to protect the image of what I might dislike and express while why talked about it. When adults walk away and I cannot get them to listen/not always agree but listen, I let them go.
