Time for a reality check. You keep mentioning the standards, standards vary greatly within an industury, you dont go into a Chevy car dealer and expect the same standards that you would find in a Mercedes car dealer. What one company/developer has done is not the industry standard, its their standard. It might be a goal for others to try to match or surpass, but even then they will probably do it with their take, with the tools/abialities they have. This game has been in developement for at least 5 years. The developer had one vision for the game, over time it has morphed from that vision to try to meet the demands of many people. Maybe not for the good. But the reality when release 3 is made public, that is the game, there will not be major changes additions to that game, accept it or dont buy it. Now future versions will add more features and upgrades, those desired features should be mentioned in the correct thread. Many people have many good wishes for the next game, there are many improvements that I would like to see. But first we need to work with the game we will have, not demand what it should be, that time is past for this version. With any luck David/Matrix will continue to support and develope this game so that it sets a new standard for computer football graphic simulations. Personnelly I cant wait for the release of verison 3, its not perfect, but its going to provide many hours of fun.
