I'm still playing version 2.2 because I only do PBEM and we can't all get coordinated to upgrade at the same time. Fighting a generated Battle of British against Germans in the Desert in Sept '42. I do my turn then send it to my opponent; he sends it back. While watching the replay, I notice that he's having an easy time of it, mostly because one of my armored Engineer companies has vanished but for 3 snipers and an FO! Abducted by Aliens or code flaw? I've seen this happen before. Needless to say, Alien abduction is not the most satisfying way to decide a battle. ------------------ Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus

...And in a second game that I'm playing against a different player it tells me that the email file is corrupted. My system is rock solid- scan disk tells me there are no problems on the SPWAW drive. I'm having no other problems with any other software. Everyone I play with knows to wait around before bailing to Windows after the turn is over. This is the 2nd time this has happened, the first being about a month ago. It seems that SPWAW 2.2 is the most unstable program on my system ------------------ Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus
