Who then gets a masochist client...

Hysterically funny when Steve Martin and Bill Murray did it...

first done (in a slightly different form) by Jack Nicholson in one of his first (pre-star) roles...

Edit - that's Jack in the little inset, about to be maimed by the protagonist posing as a dentist...

So....umm.....any chance of you making it out to PH?

Don't think so, but if another quake hits, i suppose we could get stranded...

Robert may be the first man in history to hope for an earthquake.

Yeah, I've seen them both, and I have to admit liking the remake better. Hugely funny...

Oh, I thought you were talking about The Thread, which was where Brother Raver posted recipes. I'd completely forgotten the What What What? thread...

100 posts in about 24 hours. Good Thread... Can't wait for the weekend, so I can do something productive with my life...

U.S. law enforcement officials on Wednesday said a crackdown on Internet child pornography has resulted in the arrest of 125 people nationwide, including police officers, high school teachers, and a federal border patrol agent.
Those arrested are accused of using a commercial Web site to access videos and images of hard-core pornography involving children as young as infants engaged in sexual activities with adults, according to federal officials.

Anyone for a summary execution by firing squad law?

Too quick and painless. I prefer public stoning.

They are days that you are given (15 per year) but will be given grief for actaully taking. Any reason less than being dead is seen as slacking.

Ah, those sick days. Mine are accrued an hour at a time. My understanding is that I can only use them an hour at a time.

When I left Ohio State I had some 7 months of sick leave. I took 6 weeks over 15 years. Two weeks for each of our 2 kids births and the other two weeks (10 days) primarily for their various sicknesses. I took 1 day for myself, recovering from my vasectomy.

A buddy of mine said that during his vasectomy, when they grabbed the tubes to be cut, he swore he could feel the Dr. tugging on his brain.

I may go through this after our second child is born. My wife is 35 and I am pushing 39 so I doubt we will have any more children.

The tube (vas deferens? - not sure any more since I play with equipment and am out of the biology business) actually travels up into the abdomen. I distinctly remember him pulling it out and feeling the tugging in my abdomen. It gave me a queazy feeling. Worth it, though, now.

Only 76 to go.

I think I have been stuck in the 4000 range for months. Perhaps T is getting credit for my posts.

Reminds me of a former commander....

He used to say that guys thought with 2 different organs (you figure them out) but had enough blood to think with one at a time.

He's in Iraq now. I hope he's ok.

An oldie but a goodie. I heard Robin Williams do it on stage once; not live, obviously, on DVD...

Its time to have a few words with your ISP, huh.

Speaking of ISPs, I wonder where Yava got to. I miss that crazy Pole.
