There are
-3 inland hexes that are designated coastal in nothwestern Mauretania
-2 in eastern Senegal
-hex SW of Bamako
-hex that has the IVO in IVORY COAST
-hex NW of Accra
-Hex 3 E Libreville
-All of the Quatarra depression (or?)

OK, you win, I saw none of them except the 3 firs.
SW of Bamako there were 4 hexes !!!!!!
Also, one was coastal to Mouths of the Amazons.

Steve, it would be good to have some kind of way to see coastal hexes better, only for tracking wrong ones, not for the game.

I think I've corrected all these, thanks, I'll shoot the CSV at Steve, and I'm sure he'll grant you with a magnificent view of the Lake region.

Rob has redone all the rivers in Africa, making them thicker so they will be easy to see when going through mountains, jungle, and swamp. He has also moved them slightly so they do not overlie the hex grid as much. That's to prevent rivers and country borders from obscuring each other.

I really like the work Patrice and Rob have done on the Cape Verde Islands. Patrice's passion for naming all the islands looks great here. There is plenty of room so the names do not make the image cluttered. And being able to refer to by name to Santo Antao as an important hex because it straddles 2 sea areas is much better than giving hex coordinates.

We finally got this area straightened out. It is the overlap of the European map with the Central Africa segment, plus it has the Qattara Depression graphics.

Most of the lake region in central east Africa. We had to clean up a lot of stuff here. I don't see any mistakes remaining.

8th and last in the series.

South Africa, showing the importance of Cape Town in controlling the Cape Basin and the Mozambique Channel.

If I wasn't one of those who helped make this map, I'd say that this map is really wonderfull , and now, I want to see the rest !

I see 2 errors here.
- The River from Lake Edward to Lake Albert is missing
- The River from Lake Victoria to Lake Kyoga is missing
Both are correct in the data files, Rob may have forgotten them.

Beautiful!

Just one small remark; I believe "French Somali Coast" (Côte Francaise des Somalis) is simply called "French Somaliland" in English text.

Excellent ! But can we see some of these at the lower zoom level (e.g. smaller hexes- just to get some comparison) ?

Welcome here Ahlner !

About "French Somali Coast", you are completely right. WiF FE has it the way you say.
I've also just checked WWII maps of the area, and "French Somaliland" is the right name.
I'll make the change soon.

Also, I wanted to rename the "Aden" Minor Country in "Aden Protectorate", as this is this name that is written on WWII maps. Opinions ?

Africa is big. These are at zoom level 2 so you can read some of the names.

I had to check to see if these exceeded the 500KB file limit - 462KB was the largest.

4th and last in the series. Some of the Persian coast line is done but not all of the Persian Gulf (e.g., Trucial Oman & Basra aren't finished).

I believe there are two entries for this name: as a 'minor country' and as a label for the map. The program doesn't care about the later, but the former is referenced internally. So let me know if you change the name in the minor country CSV file.

Nag, nag, nag, ...

Canary Islands are done but not the Madeira Islands. The hex SW of Mogador has suffered a shark attack (big shark).

Unfortunately Vitrolles does not reach the 100k level . We are barely 25,000. During WWII, there was less that 10k
