I am playing FITE solo and have gotten to the end of Soviet turn 7. When the computer gets around to calculating replacements it locks up with all bars shown as computed for Soviets and 5 for Germans. I have restarted several times to no good effect. I also got an event error log for this turn stating that the scenario had several errors (473) that Elmer was trying to fix. I am not sure what to do if anything with this. 473 appears to deal with an event withdrawing FR units on turn 82. I have several of these units reconstituted and thought it might be a problem with stacking in the Gorki replacement hex, but that does not seem to have made a difference. What else can be done?

Go get pizza...

Come back after a while and see if it has finished. This scenario tends to take forever to figure out replacements and reconstitution locations for one or both sides on a semi-regular basis. Often it isn't really "locked up" but rather thinking very intently on where it wants to distribute replacements amongst the hundreds that need them, and where to place that last little bicycle battalion...

What constitutes a while? I have tried that a couple of times and get the dreaded not responding for the program after 20 minutes. Is that long enough?

Disregard last post. It turned over about 30 minutes in. Patience is a virtue, but it has never been one of my virtues.

Thanks for the help,

Rob
