The evil rocket scientist has done it AGAIN!!! Two battleships, a light cruiser and two destroyers attacked the KIDO-FREAKING-BUTAI in a night surface engagement!!!

I'm sure Bruce will want to tell you, but the upshot is that a few of my ships are going to the yards, one (my most modern CL) went to the bottom and all of his are going to follow it very, very shortly...

I've only seen a surface intercept of a carrier force twice before, one of which was when I did it myself. A few heart-stopping moments there, let me tell you...

Actually, I reckon if I just sacrifice making posts that make sense I could realisticaly spam around 4-5 threads an evening.

He dinged the Hiryu, blew the Yoshino to hell, and damaged several others. All the fires you see in the screenie are a result of this action.

I found the most agressive commander I had for these guys. (Which is not saying much). I was trying to brake up a landing north of Palembang when the carriers showed up to try and crash the party.

Based on the number of aircraft that smacked Singapore, all of his carriers are fine. (But not the CL)

Terminus has only himself to blame. He did give me those battleships after all.

They have been hiding. (He was not pleased by that.)

So, I decided it was time to come out and play.

I can't help it if his carriers were in the sandbox at the time.

Nope, those are the Tosa and Owari. The Sho and Zui are... elsewhere...
