Hey Sarge. Got a request. I know you got my name in already but I think it would be nice if you could do the honor and add my grandfather to a Jagdgeschwader. He actually did serve as a flak gunner in northern Germany during the last year of the war (he got drafted at the age of 16). So it's not historically accurate, but it would still be a nice thing to do, in his memory. His name was Peter Schildfat.

If it's possible, thank you.

Extremely late for this

Do you still have room in 1940 for an RAF fighter pilot by name of Henderson, J?

Cheers

Hello, I'm not sure if I'm too late, but I just barely stumbled across this forum.

I was wondering if you still have name slots available for the 8th Air Force?
My Grandfather flew the B-17 in 1943 with the 385 Bomber Group 548 Squadron.

His name was Glyndon Bell.

For a small part of his interesting story goto http://www.flensted.eu.com/19430108.shtml

I would be honored if his name could be included.

Thank You

Highblooded,

On what date did your grandfather join the 548BS/385BG?

I don't have a name to add. I just finished reading this entire topic and couldn't help but think what a wonderful element to the art of game design your team has going. A story in itself. Good show.

I got another name for you Sarge.

I just met 90 year old man at work.  He flew B-17s in the Med.  I was unable to find out what squadron before I had to move on, but I told him that I would ask that his name be added.

Wallace Holm.  I think he said he flew out of Italy.

Thank You
Stephen E Hood

A few more names for the mill

Dick Grills (He was in a B-26 unit, tail gunner  He passed a couple months ago.)
John Dyke (His parents were in the Dutch resistance so a Dutch unit if possible)
Lloyd Gross (His father was in a Luftwaffe AA unit so anything German)
Wade Hubbard (me, I just always wanted to fly a P-47)
Steve Moluse (His sister is named Edda in honor of Mussolini's daugther so something Italian.)

greetings Sarge...

Is there any chance to fill a slavic name in Axis air force? (So-called Independent State of Croatia was German ally in war - from what i know, Croatian pilots fought on Russian theatre) ?

there were only so many slots for Nations, so we had to combine the Croats and the Bulgains into a name, which we are using as Co Ax

and as you may know, a lot of our info on these pilots is short
