Today's The-World-Is-Going-To-Hell-In-A-Handcart-story comes from the town of Hedensted, Denmark (quite close to where I live, actually):

A car strikes another car on the motorway, swerves and crashes. The driver staggers from his car, is immediately hit by another car and flung across the blacktop. He is then hit, in rapid succession, by FIFTEEN other cars. None of them, aside from the very last one, stop or call the police...

Somewhat happy. I faked illness on Saturday and called out. Sunday I went to Manhattan with my brother and got properly drunk (I really needed that). And the best news is that the young lady in question seemed to be responding well to my attempts to correct my mistakes last I saw her. I may still be reading too much into it, but she actually seemed to enjoy the time we spent together. Hopefully, she'll let me see her again tonight. Here's hoping.....

I may not be afle to field-strip a transmission, but I can change the oil, for Threadsakes.

What I havet been able to do is change it without getting covered in it from head to toe.
