Ok.
Core 1.3.84
DBEngine 1.0.308
NAVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
1.31 GHz
512mb
Windows XP

Main page loads fine but goes blank and seems to switch some display/monitor options before appearing. Now if I choose any of the menu options the screen goes blank again with the same click that sounds like it's resetting something (like the monitors resolution) and drops down to the menu bar and upon clicking the program to come back up can some times get more menus in league mode but nothing in quick play. Just a black screen. The CPU says it run the program but soon I get mfb.exe has failed no matter what I do.

I Know I'm on the beta build (sorry if the is in the wrong area) But be easy on me I am primarily a Mac user and assume that this might be something basic I am doing wrong.

try running it in windowed mode.  I used to have problems like this.
Just create a blank text file named windowmode.txt in the main Maximum Football folder

I am assuming you're not running XP on your mac via boot camp.

This almost sounds similar to something that was happening with people running the game on multiple monitors. Are you running the game on multiple monitors?

If so, the game will only work if you run it in windowmode.

To enable window mode, create a text file called windowmode.txt and place it in the game folder. When you next start the game, it will be in a window, rather than full screen.

Let me know if that helps at all.

David

Thanks All - up and running. It was the dual monitor setting.
