When I was getting my physics degree I had a patented method of acing the finals. While all my class mates were "revising" all night long, I would "revise" for two hours and then go to the Smiling Moose Bar for 2-3 beers and a burger, then back to bed at a reasonable hour. Never failed to get me better results than studying all night.

In other news, I talked to two of the teachers whose subjects were on the big written exam last week. When I explained how I'd solved the assignment in their subjects, they both said I'd done exactly right (without having seen my paper).

Happy news that was; I was quite happy with the quality of my paper, but now I'm even more pleased...

Sticky gold stars for T then It's always good to know you've passed the exam without it being marked.

Absolutely... Last-second cramming is a BAD idea... Only ever did it once, for an exam waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in high school.

Well the virtual gold is a good deal, but they really soak you on the shipping and handling charge!

Actually T if there is one thing I have learned about you (it) is that you are as honest as the day is long....of course, thinking about (it) you do live in a very northerly latitude and it is winter...

Edit: with the war on they must be rationing "it".

I think I said something quite similar. I'm glad I live off base, the lads who live inside the wire couldn't drive off base for a while

Well, that was just about the ugliest meeting I have ever had the pleasure of attending. I've seen some brutal meetings before, but...

On a more positive note, it was a meeting first, I have never had to physically restrain someone in a meeting before.

Yikes!! What went on??

A strong disagreement of opinion coupled with anger managment issues, I was just the nuetral third party in this instance, my project wasn't even discussed.

Basically, someone was presenting ideas that were percieved as threatening to another person, so overly critical comments were forth coming that were not well recieved. Basically, we have a culture of some pretty direct in your face communication here, but some comments were made that went beyond even that.

Well, this day just keeps getting better.......Graycompany's IJN just showed up at Wallis Is to shell and bomb the place...and I just got the officers club built too.

Nav Search did get word of an unspecified fleet 1 day away, so the Marine squadrons were bolstered. Mostly my air groups took it on the chin but one sharp marine Lt dropped a pickle right on top of Hiryo, no word on damage. Casualties in my air groups were somewhere around 70-80%. Ouch!

I haven't seen the replay yet so I don't know if there is an invasion. We'll see how good the marines really are shortly.

Things are very entertaining at Niceguy's office right now... 2 guys trying to kill each other, and Niceguy tries to keep them apart while running up and down the halls yelling "INVASION!!!"
