I know the game is just gotten out, but I see allready some features that I like, especialy the weapon upgrade part. I think it adds allot to the game.
Would love to see a Crown of Gory II with some of these features build in.
Also having to invest into different college to get different type of research is pretty kewl. Again a feature I would love to see in Crown of Glory

Just a thought.

No way! But I would like to see a Crown of Glory II.

In fact I promise to buy it if Matrix releases it.

FYI: present plan is to do an expansion for CoG, including a fairly robust naval tactical combat feature. Hexwar with ships. However we're still in the early phases. (Eric has posted about this in other places on the forums, btw.)

I'm sure it will be plenty Gory.

Cheers!

This time of year, could the answer be more obvious?

Warning: if you get WitP, it won't leave you time for other games. I've decided to set it aside to buy this game. I need a change.

I have the orignial and like it, though i dislike the 1 week turns because far to much can occur over 1 week.

The COG release would be many months in the future, if that makes your financial situation easier to bear.

How about The American Revolution War. FOF is pretty much set up and ready to go for that era also.

I have both Forge and COG now and I have tried COG a couple of times, but always seem to get bogged down. After reading the excellent AAR and reading the manual I am playing Forge on Advanced with little problem. I like it MUCH better than COG.

How about a Franco-Prussian war version?

Second that, trouble is that its a period (including 1866 and before) that surprisingly doesn't seem to generate much interest on either side of the pond. Yet it should provide a better balanced game, than the Europe of Revolutionary France and Napoleon 1.
